Good morning everyone,
Some days ago, I have been purchasing the DRV8412EVM, this kit has a controlCARD Piccolo F28035 on it.
As far as I can say, there have been some hardware bugs on revision 1.3 of the Piccolo controlCARD CC2803x, because it has two wired connections on this PCB.
However, Windows Vista installed all drivers that were provided on a USB Stick, the Windows Device Manager is not mentioning any problem with the USB combo implemented on this controlCARD.
The GUI for checking the kit DRV8412-C2-KIT, was starting and shows "connect", but the controlCARD is just blinking and the data on the window of DRV8412GUIv5 were not updated properly (i.e. trace keeps with low values, and the voltage indicator is not dropping of 24.35V when the power is removed).
The problem remains, as I try to connect the Code Composer Studio v3.3, there it shows a connection problem:
"Error connecting target: Error 0x00001200/-1041 Error during: OCS, Target, Device Driver: Problem with the Emulation Controller. It is recommanded to RESET EMULATOR. This will disconnect each target from the emulator. The targets should then be power cycled or hard reset followed by an emuresetand reconnect to each target."
I attempted two installation on two different computers, one Windows Vista Ultimate, and one Windows XP Pro. I do not think there is a relation to the system, or the responce time. There could be a problem with the drivers, but then I can't explain the fact that Windows Vista and Windows XP having a different driver structure could behave same.
Thanks for any technical advice which could bring my project forward.
R.
