DRV8301-69M-KIT: Question of inertia identification

Part Number: DRV8301-69M-KIT
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: MOTORWARE

Dear team:

When my client uses the routine lab5c in motorware to perform the inertia identification test, the inertia identification state will jump back and forth between "ST_VEL_ID_INIT" and "ST_VEL_ID_IDLE", the motor has been in the identification process, and there is no error sign.

May I ask why is this?

Best regards

  • Hi User,

Please expect a couple of days delay for our expert to analyze and respond due to holiday on 4th Jul 2022.

  • Do you run the lab02b/c to identify the motor parameters first? And then run the lab05c with the identified motor parameters?

Any value in the "gMotorVars.UserErrorCode" when run the lab?

Could you please provide more detailed information about how to run the labs that will help us understand the questions? What the motor is using? Is there any load adding on the motor? Any changes in the example labs?

BTW, it's better to ask the customers to post their questions on E2E directly if possible.
