Hi team,
Is there any application which generates/shows number of system clock cycles/ execution time for all the functions in a CCS software in tabular form.
Thanks,
Shreni. P

Hi Shreni,
On this device, you can measure the code execution time using measuring cycle counts. Here is the link which walks through the steps.
https://software-dl.ti.com/ccs/esd/documents/ccs_counting_cycles.html#profile-clock
On newer devices, it has a module called ERAD which provides many advance debugging and profiling features. But F2837xS does not have ERAD module.
Thanks & Regards,

Hi Santosh,
We have been checking our software timings by using cycle counts as mentioned by you. But we have about 150 functions in our software, and it is really time taking to find time for each function. So, I just wanted to know, if you could suggest me any such application which gives cycle counts for all the corresponding functions at a single stretch, that you are aware of, or any third party application you know will be helpful.
Thanks,
Shreni. P
Shreni,
On newer devices, we have a module called ERAD which extends the debugging and profiling features. But unfortunately, ERAD module is not available on this device, so there is no other way.
Thanks & Regards,
Santosh
