C2000-GANG: Although the battery is charged, it does not power out

Part Number: C2000-GANG

Hello, my son's toy has a battery. The battery he has been using for 3 years has stopped working in the past weeks. I changed the Li-on batteries inside. I measure the output voltage of 14.5V, but the led lights on the battery do not light, the device does not work. The battery is not charging. I did some research and realized that there is a problem with the BQ20X655. I downloaded the TI bq Gas gauge software and made the necessary connections. I tried every way but it didn't work. I keep getting errors. I can't buy the battery separately, it gets expensive with the product. Can you help me?

  • Hello Jonathan,

The bq20z655 that is in the battery pack is likely to be sealed. It cannot be reprogrammed without unsealing.

If you can get the unseal codes from the manufacturer, then you can program it and then follow the steps required for bq20z655 configuration
