F28M35M52C: Increase the pulse width of the EPWM

Part Number: F28M35M52C

Hi Team,

Our customer would like to increase the pulse width of the EPWM of F28M35 microcontroller and would like to confirm if it is possible. Please see the details of his inquiry below.

I would like to ask you a question about the EPWM module of the microcontroller series concerto F28M35

I am using the SYNCO signal of the EPWM module to synchronize the sampling of an external equipment (an OPAL-RT system)

I've looked at the documentation, and if I am not wrong, the width of the pulse generated at the synchronization instant is not configurable. Am I right? Do you know how long the pulse is?

Regards,

Danilo

  • Hi,

The subject matter expert is out of office (US holiday) and will get back ASAP. Please expect delay in response.

  • Hi Danilo,

The synchronization pulse that is generated from the EPWM block is a fixed width that is not configurable by the user. We do not categorize the width of this pulse but it should be the same each time.
