TMS320F2808: Locking/unlocking of the CSM using Serial Flash interface

Hello.

We are trying to find the way to lock unlock CSM using the Serial Flash interface. So far we were able to generate F280xxPasswordMF.out file, convert it to F280xxPasswordMF.b00 file and feed it to memory in front of our service code .b00 file. However, opening call to F28xxRS232Flash.dll fails. Please help us to find the correct direction.

I regret I don’t understand exactly what problem you are facing and how I can help you. I am happy to help you with questions pertaining to how the CSM works, but I may not be able to help you with questions pertaining to your tools and utilities. All that is needed to lock a device is to program the passwords in the PWD locations. All that is need to unlock the device is to do the dummy read of the PWL and write the correct passwords to the KEY registers.
