Hello,
I am currently working with the TI C2000 Launchpad XL. To communicate with the board via UART, I need the device to run as a virtual COM port.
Everything works fine on the laptop where I develop my project (CCS 6.2.0 installed) but not on a different device.
Do I have to install Code Composer Studio on every single device, or is there another, easier way to configure the XDS100 ver2 as COM port?
Thanks in advance
Johannes
Okay quick update: This worked on one laptop but on the other I had to install the drivers from here:
https://software-dl.ti.com/ccs/esd/documents/xdsdebugprobes/emu_xds_software_package_download.html
and activate the virtual COM port
