LAUNCHXL-F28069M: XDS100 driver installation without Code Composer Studio

Part Number: LAUNCHXL-F28069M

Hello,

I am currently working with the TI C2000 Launchpad XL. To communicate with the board via UART, I need the device to run as a virtual COM port.

Everything works fine on the laptop where I develop my project (CCS 6.2.0 installed) but not on a different device.

Do I have to install Code Composer Studio on every single device, or is there another, easier way to configure the XDS100 ver2 as COM port?

Thanks in advance

Johannes
