TMS320F28335: Can I use FB1111-0141 (which allows SPI) etherCAT controller to communicate with tms320f28335?

My question is can we use FB1111-0141 which comes with ET1100 and allows SPI communication for etherCAT connectivity with tm320f28335, and do I need any slave stack?
