TMS320F28377S-Q1: The issue of powering on and resetting the chip

Please answer all questions below carefully:

1. From the time the board is powered on, how long does it take for the problem to appear?
2. Does the board work fine until the reset starts appearing?
3. What is the duration and frequency of resets? Please attach the oscilloscope image.
4. If you are able to re-program the firmware, does that make the problem go away?
5. Is Watchdog enabled in the code?
6. How long were these boards working in the field before they started showing this issue?
7. R7, the 1MΩ resistor across X1 should not be used.

.1. When the mainboard is powered on, how long will the problem occur?

After the mainboard is powered on, a power failure occurs and the mainboard restarts for 2 minutes

2. Was the board working properly before the reset began to appear?

The board works properly before the reset occurs

3. What is the duration and frequency of the reset? Please attach an oscilloscope image.

After the mainboard is powered on, the power is off for 2 minutes, lasts for 20 seconds, and then powered on again. Continue to run for 2 minutes, power off again

4. If you can reprogram the firmware, will the problem go away? Can you send the software part for a look?

After a new program has been burned, there will still be a power failure and restart phenomenon, and the software error will be reported when the remaining 2 programs are burned, and they can not be burned.

5. Is watchdog enabled in the code?

The watchdog feature is enabled in the code

6. How long have the boards been in the field before this problem began?

This batch of detectors have been used in the field for more than 1 year, 1 year later, there are reset problems, 1 year is normal use

7.R7, 1MΩ resistors that pass through X1 should not be used.

R7 is connected to X1 in parallel. After the R7 resistance is removed, the detector is abnormally powered off.

Do you have any other suggestions?

What do you mean by "power failure"? I thought the problem was that the device was getting reset. Are you saying the device gets reset after being powered on for 2 minutes?

Sorry, I don't understand what you are trying to say here. You need to clarify whether the device is getting rest or the board is powered off. You are saying both, which is very confusing. As mentioned before, I need to see the oscilloscope image that clearly shows the duration and frequency of resets.

Sorry, I don't understand what you are trying to say here. Are you able to re-program the Flash without any errors?

Can you please disable the WD and see if the problem goes away?

Are you saying the board does not work without R7?
