Hi, team

In the 280039 AES128 module,  the global interrupt is turned off before configuring the module register, To keep the global interrupt enable, can we remove the following code  in the red box below?and what are the risks?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Sincerely

  • Hi,

If you remove the interrupt disable, then it is possible an interrupt can occur in the middle of the AES initialization and stop it from completing successfully. For many applications that may not be acceptable.

Can you instead re-enable interrupts after you exit from the initializeAES function?

    Regards,

    Vince
