TMS320F28388S: Confusion about memory organization of TMS320F28388S

Part Number: TMS320F28388S

I am reading the datasheet of C2000 series of MCU, especially the TMS320F28388S.
But I am confusing about the size of RAM, which is specified in product table as 277 KB.

Comparing with datasheet

It said that the size of RAM is 216 KB.
Did I miss some point of calculation?


If possible, for the further understanding, please guide me how to read the TI product's datasheet.

    Hi,

    There are other RAMs also in system like MSG RAMs and some RAMs are associated with peripherals like EtherCAT/USB which are all included in the product table but in datasheet these are not included. In Datasheet these are included in Memory Map Table (Table 8-1. C28x Memory Map).
