TMS320F28067: C2000Ware defintions completely different from other processors in the same family

We developed our application using the TMS320F280049C and switched to the F28067 because we could actually buy those. It appears that unlike the other processors that the C2000 software files are completely different than the others. The moost obvious are PieVector names are similar but different, the F2806x_Gpio.c has no pic configuration or simple read and write functions that are in most of the other processors.

I am using C200Ware V5.01.00. Please tell me there is some secret version that uses the same names and functions as the other processors!

F28004x is a Gen3 device whereas F2806x is a Gen2 device and hence there is a difference .

There is no such secret version , all the available headers/examples are provided within C200Ware.

So it's up to me to write the GPIO routines on Gen3 devices? Seems like a siginificant step backwards for your users.

We do not have a direct migration guide across these devices.

Some thinfs that you can do

compare examples of F2806x vs F28004x for a given peripherals .
Include files and sources for F280049C into the project and let it reference same project main file and look at the compilation errors for the difference
Refer the following guide that mentions the differences between peripherals on devices that might help you with porting.http://www.ti.com/lit/spru566
