TIDM-HV-1PH-DCAC: Code: Inductance modification for balancing

Part Number: TIDM-HV-1PH-DCAC
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TIDM-SOLAR-ONEPHINV, CONTROLSUITE

Dear,

For our development, we can't use a single inductor for switching, so we have to add a second inductor to the low-frequency bridge.

  1. Can you give me some information about the choice of the single inductor in this demoboard, in comparison with the TIDM-SOLAR-ONEPHINV which had 2?
  2. Does the addition of this second inductor mean any changes in the software?
  3. Does the software for the old TIDM-SOLAR-ONEPHINV demoboard exist somewhere for us to consult?

Thank you for your answers

Best regards.

  • Hello Alex

1, 2. I would suggest to go through the userguide regarding the inductor design. Based on the inductor value, the controller parameters may have to be retuned.

    3. I am not sure. Please download older version of the digital power SDK to see if TIDM-SOLAR-ONEPHINV firmware exists there.

    Thanks

    Amir

  • If this helps other users in the future :
The demo board TIDM-SOLAR-ONEPHINV is out of date, Texas has no further information support on it.
However, the TIDM-SOLAR-ONEPHINV design software is still available if you still have our "ControlSuite" tool (see screenshot below).

    Thanks
