Hi,

I'm trying example EtherCAT code explained in "EtherCAT_Slave_Controller_User_guide.pdf" which can be opened in below link

I'm following 3.10. CM CiA402 solution example but I have trouble in step 12

and when I try to import CCS project,

this page pops up.

I used Slack Stack code tool 5.1.2 ver,

ccs 11.2.0

and

c200ware_motor control_sdk tool kit ver. 5.01.00.00.

I'm using working directory as below

c2000\C2000Ware_MotorControl_SDK_5_01_00_00\c2000ware\libraries\communications\Ethercat\f2838x

Can anybody give me some help about this?

Hello,

Please verify the proper file paths are included in Window > Preferences > Code Composer Studio > Products and click on the 'Refresh' button, the version of C2000Ware in the motor control SDK should show up there. CCS provides this error message when it can't find the given product/SDK.

I found the pop-up box and click the refresh button.

Here is the screenshot of my product pop-up page after click refresh button.

And unfortunately I still get the same error... can you give me another guide or something to try in another way?

Hello,

Can you please add a path directly to the c2000ware folder (specifically C:\ti\c2000\C2000Ware_MotorControl_SDK_5_01_00_00\c2000ware) and try refreshing there?

I added the c2000ware folder of sdk 5.01.00 and 2.01.00 version in my ccs preference box like below.

And I'm still encountering the same error when importing the example projects. Can you give me another option to try?

I believe this could be due to you downloading from the TI Resource Explorer instead of via the typical Motor Control SDK installer. I suggest taking the steps discussed in the above thread and seeing if that resolves your error.
