TIDA-010054: SFRA

Part Number: TIDA-010054
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SFRA

I’m currently exploring the C2000 series TI microcontroller. I have few doubts related to  SFRA. In FRA settings if we run the plant mode it extract the information of my plant. If I upload the sfra.csv to the compensation designer, and select two pole two zero  compensator will the poles and zero values are updated automatically by using the data available in SFRA.CSV file. Can you please answer my query.

  • Hi,

    Thanks for reaching out.
After you load the SFRA data into compensations designer, the plant function is updated. In compensation designer the poles and zeros of the controller are predefined. You can modify them to get the desired closed loop performance.
Then you can take these poles and zeros, and update the software with them. This needs to be done manually. Afterwards you can test if the control loop is behaving as intended.

    Best regards,

    Andreas
