We are using F28004x in PMSM inverter. I am writing requirements for power derating based on Tj (junction temperature) limit i.e. 125 DegC. The inverter peak current is 500 Amp so it is likely to happen that in microcontroller internal temperature will reach to 125 DegC in 60 mins.
I think rise in temperature is higher than expected. Can you guide me if my understanding is correct? Is it advisable to switch to different package?
