TMS320C2834x without inner Flash, it use external EEPROM or Flash, If TMS320C2834x boot from external EEPROM(such as 24LC512), we need to update application program use serial port through UART port. That is, PC could use GUI update application program to TMS320C2834x directly. Whether have good idea or solution for it?
Now customer want to design it with external MCU, MCU do serial update working, and TMS320C2834x boot from MCU inner flash. But this method need large size and Flash capacity MCU, customer board just have small space.
