I am working on a TMS320F28335 project with CC 11.2.0 and development board. This is a flash based project that has been running well for quite a while. Since we are close to release it, I decided to look at ways to secure the on chip memory.
I started playing with CSM password using UniFlash 8.1.1. I entered a password and tried to lock the device. I was able to enter password successfully, however, when I tried to lock it, I got an error saying that debugger could not connect to target. I reset TMS320F28335 and checked connections to debugger (XDS200 USB) but I always get the below error message.
Is there a way to unlock device? I know the password, but since I cannot connect to target, knowing the password doesn't help.

Dear Forum, I was able to unlock device by switching boot mode to branch to SCI. Then, using Uniflash entered password and unlocked device. After that erased all flash sectors. The following link helped me:
