COEF in eQEP Status Register(QEPSTS)

COEF is "Capture Overflow Error Flag" in QEP.

I wonder whether COEF is cleared when I read QEPSTS register after Overflow happened.

In addition, Is it true that COEF is cleared when I write down "1" on COEF bit ?

    Hello Joseph,

    The COEF bit is not cleared after reading the QEPSTS register following an overflow occurs.  Writing a "1" to the COEF bit does clear the bit, as indicated in the eQEP Module Reference Guide which can be found on your specific device's Product Folder found under the "Online resources" section of the device's page in controlSUITE or by searching for the part number on ti.com.
