F28335 SCI FIFO and Multiprocessor bit?

 Hi!

 Is there any way I can use the TX and RX FIFOs of the SCI and use the multiprocessor bits?

 For example... for transmission, if I put 8 or 10 bytes in the FIFO, how can I tell which of them have to include multiprocessor bit?

 In reception, RXWAKE is supposed to be active when I read the byte that has the multiprocessor bit set?

 Also... in the documentation says that TX FIFO is 8 bits wide, and RX FIFO 10 bits wide... what are those 2 extra bits for?
