Hi all,
I am using Concerto development board in which it has F28M36 Control Card. I am trying to run the USB Host code in that code examples following note is there
//! NOTE: The Concerto controlCARD has a hardware errata that will prevent this
//! example from working correctly. A VBus Error interrupt is accidently
//! generated which confuses the USB stack. To fix this remove R230 on
//! the back upper left size of the controlCARD (near the USB connector)
//! and replace it with a short or 0 ohm jumper.
But I am unable to find that R230 Resistor in the control card.. Can anyone help to find that resistor and also I wanted to know if I remove that R230 My USB controller still can able to work as USB device or else again I need to place that again to work as a device mode.
Thanks in advance.
With Regards,
Umesh T
Hi Umesh,
There isn't any Resistor R230 as such in F28M36. I guess this notice was meant for F28M35 controlCard and by mistake this notice has been pasted here. Here's that part from F28M35 controlCard schematic:
So, you can continue your work with F28M36 controlCard :)
I'll forward this mistake to TI, to remove this notice from F28M36 usb codes.

Gautam
