Hello,
I'm a beginner of using DSP. I have a launch pad which is made by other company. It has a DSP TMS320 F28335PGFA CA-32AG6JW. When I want to start a new CCS project at CCS v6, I have to choose a target.
Then, I'm confused. There are too many options for me that I don't know how to choose. There are Generic C28xx Device, Experimenter's kit - Delfino F28335, EZDSPF28335 and TMS320F28335.
My questions is as follow:
1.What is the difference between these options?
2.What should I choose? Each one is Ok or I can only choose one of them? Why?
Thanks,
Yibo

Which company is this other than Spectrum digital?

There's no difference, its just that TI has segregated it into 3 parts as per kits available so that its easy for the user to select. Here are the relevant boards:
Experimenter's kit - Delfino F28335 - TI's F28335 Experimenter's Kit
EZDSPF28335 - Spectrum Digital's EZDSPF28335 Kit
TMS320F28335 - For Custom boards

I always use TMS320F28335 be it any board and it works with all :)

It is a small company which names RenAll Technology Co.Ltd. Because I know very little things about DSP, I just searched on Tianmao, then find this(http://detail.tmall.com/item.htm?spm=a230r.1.14.9.1WXm7s&id=38113078560&ad_id=&am_id=&cm_id=140105335569ed55e27b&pm_id=). It just happened three weeks before. At that time, I even didn't read a book about DSP before. Just had some course about SCM. I thought it was great if I can have a launch pad. When I learn some knowledge, I can use it at once.

What about "Generic C28xx Device"? The Device which use C28xx series DSP, which is different from launch pad?
Thank you~~

Never heard of such a kit; its better if you stick with TMS320F28335 option.

This option is for generic F28xx devices such as F2808, F2812 etc.... But as specific ones are already present in the list, generic one is normally not preferred.

Hi,Gautam
Yes, I will choose the TMS320F28335 option. Just want to know more, so I can learn to use it better. Perhaps I'm a little gerddy. Haha~
