hi all

 I have experimental board of 28335

and while loading prog into chip following error occurs and program fails

and also i found that chip is getting hot within 30-40 sec when connected to power from usb.

It appears that the target is being held in reset.  This may be
due to Wait-In-Reset (WIR) configuration set by the EMU0=0
and EMU1=1 pin settings.  If this is the case, DISCONNECT
all CONNECTED devices including icepick and then select
RETRY to clear the WIR configuration.

please help me to solve this prob

i am unable to find problem whether target or emulator is damaged or any thing else.

Nikhil,

Please answer the following questions:

Did you make sure you powered up the device properly?
Did you try probing RESET pin? Was the RESET pin pulled HIGH (or) LOW?
Did you try SdConfigEx tools? Did the JTAG Scan chain test pass?
Have you ever connected CCS to this device (or) board?
Did you try other emulators?

i am using TMS320F28335 Experimenter Kit and powered via USB

JTAG Scan chain test passing sucessfully

i tried with another docking station but same error occur.
