hii, I am using TMS320F28335 DSP Board with JTAG emulator (XDS100v2) (connected through USB to the Laptop). I am using this to generate PWM signal which is fed to the gate driver of an inverter. Whenever I am running this, at the beginning with lower DC input voltage it is working fine and when I am increasing DC input voltage of the inverter little bit more it is showing the following error
C28xx: Error: (Error -150 @ 0x0) One of the FTDI driver functions used during configuration returned a invalid status or an error. (Emulation package 5.1.73.0)
After sometime it is turning OFF automatically.
Again when I am starting it from the beginning it working fine with lower Input DC voltage and after some higher DC input voltage it is showing the same error.
Please help me in this regard.

Please check for any shorts on the board. Monitor the voltage levels on the board & check for any overheating components. Was XDS100v2 functioning previously with the same board?

Gautam

The chances of the board malfunctioning seems to be more than XDS100v2. Please check the board as mentioned above and share your observations.

Hello,
Is this your custom board?
If yes, maybe this causes by noises.
Is the emulator onboard or is it separated from the main board?
If it is separated from the main board, you should make sure the emulator is not too far from the MCU.
