Phase-Shifted Full Bridge DC/DC Power Converter - TIDM-PSFB-DCDC

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TIDM-PSFB-DCDC

Hello,

I am trying to use the TIDM-PSFB-DCDC Phase-Shifted Full Bridge DC/DC Power Converter as a reference design. The design specs I am trying to achieve are input voltage varying  from 900VDC to 400VDC and output voltage of fixed 200VDC with max current of ~25A (approx 5kW total power output). The main power transformer has already been selected for me and is optimized for 25 to 30kHz.

My main questions are:

1. Given that both the reference design and the target design are step-down converters with identical topology will the bridge switching logic need to be modified in any way?

2. Can the default switching frequency of 100kHz be changed to the 25-30kHz for optimal transformer performance? What else would need to change along with that?

3. Using proper isolation to the microcontroller inputs, is there any dangers to generating a 200VDC output? Any suggestions?

4.  What needs to be modified so that the GUI displays properly the input and output voltage? The screen shots in the user guides and other documentation seems to indicate a slider can change the output voltage from 8 to 13VDC - how do we change that to ~200VDC? Is the GUI open source?

5. Any other concerns or target ares we should focus on in redesigning this EVM to fit our needs?

Thanks a lot in advance.
