How i can connect the DSP F2812 in USB port?

Good evening, i have a DSP F2812 and i want to connect it using a USP port. Then, i bought an cable paralell->usb and try to connect in my pc, but even that the windows 7 recognizes the DSP, the code composer can't see it. What i can do (change settings and how, or something like that) for solve this?

I think you're saying that you have an eZdspF2812 development board, and would like to be able to do debug work using the USB port on your PC. I cannot say what is wrong with your USB-to-Parallel cable. But if it were me, I would just get a USB emulator and use the external JTAG connector on the eZdsp board. The eZdsp has circuitry that detects if an external emulator is connected, and uses that instead of the on-board parallel port emulator. This is how I've worked with my eZdspF2812 for many years.

You can get very low cost emulators today. XDS100 is $79 I think, and XDS200 is $299. Personally, I'd go with the XDS200 if possible. It is considerably faster. You can get these directly on the TI e-store, or directly from a number of third party emulator companies (e.g. Spectrum Digital, Blackhawk, others).
