Hey Guys,

First of all, I am very new to TI products. I recently bought a 24V AC Induction Motor LVACIMTR. I want to design a Field Oriented Control on my own. But now I am bit confused of the Motor Parameters. All I could find about leakage Induction, Rotor Resistance, etc. is a short passage at the end of the Data Sheet, which declare to use these Parameters for motorware user.h. Are these Values the exact Values of the Machine, or are they almost be modified? And if they are not, where can I find the Value of the missing leakage Rotor Inductance.

yes, they are the identified parameters of the LVACIMTR using the InstaSPIN Motor ID capability.

I've emailed EMSynergy (the designer of the motor) to see if they can provide further parameters

response from EMsynergy:

the four parameter equivalent inductance is 6.2 mH, something one can also find out by measuring with an L-C-R meter between two leads and diving by 2.

You were so far a big big help!
But maybe you can also help me understanding what they intend to say with equivalent inductance ? As far as i know there are two inductance in the four parameter model. So are both inductance together equal 6.2 mH, or only one of them?
