Need a stand alone programmer or software to program the microcontrollers easily with hex file.

i have Omni XDS100v3 JTAG Debug Probe
i looked at TI TMS320F28xx C2000 Series Flash Programmer, USB and it does not support TI TMS320F2837xD programming.

what device needed to program the hex file into these devices?

i don't want to install all the ccs7 software and write instructions on how to program .

do you have program that simply, just program the hex file through JTAG?

is their a script to do program the hex file on CCS7 with one or few buttons?

i used it with my pc and to program the hex files into the machine. i guess the JTAG have an FTDI Chip and they have software that can program the flash in the flash in the micro on x86. do you have software in c that can do that so i can port it to Arm processor?

my aim is to send the hex file to arm processor through BLE or Bluetooth or wireless program the flash through JTAG and reset the processor .
i just don't want to do this from scratch.
where can i find the code to do this?
application note , programs, maybe a demo board?
etc

Hi Loai,

More specifically CCS provides a driver which allows your computer to interface with the FTDI chip so that it acts as a xds100v1 emulator. This emulator works to connect up to the chip via JTAG - including programming. C2Prog uses this interface/driver to program the device. Note that C2Prog can also program the device over SCI.

If you're looking to program another device (via JTAG or otherwise), I might recommend posting to that device's E2E forum/vendor. Programming is usually relatively chip family specific.
