TMS320F280041: F280049/45/41 64PM pins configuration

Part Number: TMS320F280041

Hello Champs,

In F28004x datasheet (sprs945a) page 14, F280041 (64PM) pin 30 and pin 29 has been defined as GPIO12 and GPIO13.

but in page 28 "Pin Attributes" 64PM pin 30 and pin 29 have been described as FLT1 and FLT2.

Would you please kindly help confirm pin30 and pin29 functions? Thanks!

Best Regards,

Linda

  • Linda,

There are 2 package variants for the 64 pin package. One is our standard 64 pin (which has GPIO 12/13) and the other one is the Q grade for automotive and for this package the FLT1 and FLT2 are brought out for some factory test.

  • Linda,

Bobby is correct in his description. Just to emphasize, the pin diagrams in the datasheet are correct. The column headers are reversed in the tables for the 64 pin packages. We will have this corrected in our next revision of the datasheet. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

Note that these are the only pinout differences between the packages so everything else is correct in the tables.

    Regards,
    Kris

  • Hi Linda,

The updated datasheet with this correction is now available on the web from the F28004x product folder.
