What are the full system throughput and transmission distance capabilities? 

What is the real world data rate versus distance and number of intermediate power transformers?

The EVK is just the LV modem, does TI support design or specification of the full system?

    The G3-PLC supports up to 42 kbps over CENELEC-A band and the maximum distance would vary based on the channel condition. But, with our field experiments, we were able to send data at the distance of 1km with ROBO modulation that G3-PLC can support. 

    The real data rate would depend more on # of nodes in the network. Typically the overall network throughput decreases exponentially with increment of the nodes. For the distance, if it's reachable, it would have less impact on the system throughput. 

    For the power transformers, based on my experience, the G3-PLC can go thru one transformer but it would be hard to go thru multiple ones. This also depends on other conditions such as background channel quality. 

    Unfortunately, we don't offer any full system design or specification.
