TMS320F28379D: TMS320F28379D / SPI - Stand alone Ethernet Controller Interface

Part Number: TMS320F28379D

Hello ,

TMS320F28379D does not have internal EMAC , we plan to go with SPI based Stand alone Ethernet Controller Interface , before that we would like to know does anyone tired this option or any proven solution available with reference design and sample source code.

This might be of interest to you.

We have not done any such evaluation of external SPI based Ethernet Controller interfaces(on F2837xD devices) or provide any reference design/sample code based on those.

Hi Sudharsanan,

we have suggested the same to our customer as well , they hesitate to use the new device (TMS320F28388D) as the product is not matured yet.

Then they have to look for other options like SPI-Ethernet interface, for which we do not have any reference design based on F2837x.
