TMS320F28335: Is the long-distance transmission reliable after the angle signal of the encoder is converted by SPI and RS485?

Dear TI:

As the picture shows above. Is the long-distance(about 1 meter) transmission reliable after the angle signal of the encoder(the rightmost side of the picture) is transmitted by SPI and RS485?

Hi F.F,

The transmission should be reliable despite the distance as long as the RS485 guidelines are followed and the baud rate for the SPI is configured appropriately.
