Hello all,
We are looking to make cost effective board based on TMS320F28379D. We are planning to remove XDS100_V2 emaulator (FTDI chip) part from the board and keep the JTAG connections on board which will be accessed by separate XDS100 programmer for programming.
I went through lots of reference documentation but could not find schematics without XDS100V2 hardware built in on the board itself, can you please suggest the JTAG connector interface with MCU directly or any document doing the same.
Regards
Shrikant L
Hi Shrikant,
If you look at the JTAG/Emulation section of the TMS320F28379D datasheet you will find the recommended connections to a 14pin TI standard JTAG header, which several debug probes/emulators can plug into.
(in Revision K of the datasheet this is Section 5.9.5)
Hopefully this helps!
Thank you,
Brett
