I have a problem with the TMS320F28069 microcontroller heating effect. Whenever I am providing power to it. it is raising its temperature which is more than the temperature of the launchPAD. I have designed the circuit using the launchpad circuit reference. Here I found a mistake which I thought this can be an issue, please tell me if this is the issue which can be causing the heating problem?
Here The inductor is different. But I have provided a different ferrite bead. which is in the following.
I have used (38) ferrite bead, for the L3 and L4 ferrites.
Is this is causing the heating problem? The temperature is rising at about 60-68 degrees Celcius.
thank you.
Hi MD Shahrukh,
These ferrite beads aren't essential for device operation. You can remove the ferrite beads and make a solder bridge to test if it is causing the heating issue.
Best,
Kevin
