Hi
Good job with producing TMS320F280025.
Do you have a plan on implementation Instaspin FOC and MOTION on TMS320F280025 ?
Because instaspin FOC algorithms are working well in sensorless application and instaspin MOTION will work great in sensored application with the peripherals which TMS320F280025 have.
Best regards.
Omid
TMS320F280025 doesn't support InstaSPIN-Motion. Only F2805xM and F2806xM support InstaSPIN-Motion.
We will provide such the InstaSPIN-FOC example labs for F28002xC as the F28004xC, please note the coming update of motorControlSDK on the TI website.
Thanks for your reply.
It is good to heat that you will update the motorControlSDK for supporting F28002xC with InstaSPIN-FOC.
But please note that if you bring the InstaSPIN-MOTION to Gen3 MCUs like F28002xC and F28004xC . we can use it for application with sensored applications with need precise position control. because with InstaSPIN-MOTION we can get a very good position control just to adjust single parameter . Also have good speed curves ( s-curve , ST-curve , ....).
Why you dont do that?
Best regards.

Sorry. The InstaSPIN-Motion is only enabled in F2805xM and F2806xM. Per the product portfolio, we won't provide the InstaSPIN-motion for the other and new series devices since most of the servo users have their own motion profile algorithms.
Sorry. No. You have to keep using InstaSPIN-motion enabled devices, like F2806xM.
but We want to use the algorithm on closer loop position control application which need CLB for interfacing the encoder!
so must implement the Insta-Spin on MCUs like 28004 or 28002!
You have to design your own motion control algorithm if you want to use F28004x and F28002x with CLB. There are no further devices supporting instaSPIN-Motion after F2806x since most customers prefer to use their own motion profile algorithm.
what about :
1- Identify inertia
2- Simple tuning
with single parameter for bandwidth of speed controller and position controller .
There was so many good thing in Insta-spin solution which reduce time to market and ...
All the existing features in IntsaSPIN-motion will not be supported in F280025C now. Some servo/motion control algorithm will be released in motor control SDK in the future.
