Hi expert,

My customer may need your help to recommend TI's latest PMIC or voltage regulators + voltage supervisor solution for F28377S (Q-grade is a must but ISO26262 functional safety is not needed). Though these products are not from your BU. You may already have some idea if you are doing any system design.

If functional safety support is not needed, you can consider using the TPS62420-Q1 dual rail DC-DC converter for power supply. Reference circuit can be find from F2837x controlCARD available in C2000ware.

Hi Sheldon,

Currently for functional safety applications, following is the recommendation on PMIC (e.g. TPS65381A-Q1)

Customer can consider using TI TPS6538x power supply and safety companion device for reset supervision at system level.

For non-safety applications that require only power supply and optional voltage monitoring, (no external watchdog etc required), following solution can be used.

•Power Supply : TPS62420 : Dual Step-Down

–600-mA (VDD-IO,A,OSC,FL 3.3v)

–1000-mA (VDD-Core 1.2v)

•Voltage monitor : TPS3702
