CCS/BOOSTXL-BUCKCONV: Compensation Designer + SFRA, using LAUNCHXL-F280049C

Part Number: BOOSTXL-BUCKCONV
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LAUNCHXL-F28069M, , SFRA, POWERSUITE, LAUNCHXL-F280049C

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

Hello!

TI System Engineer Hrishi Nane explains BOOSTXL-BUCKCONV project, based on launchxl-f28069m in video "Digital Power Buck Converter BoosterPack Out of Box Demo" , posted 2015.
Meanwhile, Launchpad and Softwarepackage design for BUCKCONV has been changed & enhanced by TI.
Unfortunatly, I am not able to transfer Compensation Designer and SFRA feature to current environment (since I am new to TI projects).

Would you mind to support me in this task, please?

BR Helmut

  • Helmut,

As you have mentioned, just about every component in the tool chain (CCS, powerSUITE, drivers, etc) has been updated since the 2015 video was made.

If possible, I recommend using the LAUNCHXL-F280049C solution that is found in the Digital Power SDK.  The TIDM-DC-DC-BUCK design guide provides a walk through for this solution that is targeted for new developers.

  • Tommy,

I confirm, walking through of TIDM-DC-DC-BUCK design guide is an easy going one.
I am able to reproduce nearly all of the reference values, including SFRA and CompensationDesigner.
    Excellent done!

Thank you very much for your support.
