Hello,
I have a question regarding the CLA Data ROM on TMS320F28388D device. The CLA Data ROM(run address) is present in memory map address range: 0xF000 to 0xFFFF in the TMS320F2838x data manual (SPRSP14B) as below. The same address range also belong to GS2 RAM as well. So, I have two interpretations for CLA Data ROM.
1. There is a singe physical RAM with address range: 0xF000 to 0xFFFF on this device and CLA Data ROM and GS2 RAM is a shared memory for CPU and CLA?
2. There are two physical RAM with address range: 0xF000 to 0xFFFF on this device. One RAM will be assigned as GS2 RAM and another RAM will be assigned as CLA Data ROM(run address) which is accessible only by CLA?
Please let me know which one is correct.
Best Regards

Amulrass,
Your 2nd point is correct. CLA doesnt have access to GS RAMs. CLA has CLA DATAROM mapped at 0xF000 and DMA has GSRAM has mapped at 0xF000 in the same address as shown in the table.

Praveen
Just to add what Praveen mentioned, CLA DATAROM is not RAM but ROM (READ ONLY Memory) which is already programmed by TI. User can only use it but can not change the content.
