TMS320C28346: software reset method

Hi Champion,

One of my customer wants to achieve software reset for C28346.

however, I can only find watchdog reset for this device, am I right for this?

next step, they want to identify the type of reset, and I can not find the RESC register such as F28004X and F2837X, so is there a register to identify 

reset cause for C28346?

If not, can any RAM be retain after watchdog reset by some method? then customer can write to some RAM address to datalog before they trigger a forced watchdog.

    Correct. That is the only way.

    Yes, RAM content is retained across reset.
