Hi,
My customer is using F2802x and flashing the binaries by Motorola s3 format (file extension .m01 and .m02).
They have been using hex2000.exe tool with –m3 option to generate .m01 and .m02 files.
Now they are planning to use C2000-GANG.
According to C2000-GANG User’s Guide, it supports following file extensions.
*.txt Texas Instruments
*.s19, *.s28, *s37 Motorola
*.hex Intel
I would like to know if:
- We can directly flash .m01/.m02 files by C2000-GANG?
- We need some file conversion from .m01/.m02 format to .s37 format?
- We need to use the other file format?
Best regards,
-Shibata
Hi,
Here is one update.
I found that running hex2000.exe with “-m3 –romwidth=16” option generates one .m00 file.
Is this .m00 file compatible with .s37 file and can be flashed by C2000-GANG?
Best regards,
-Shibata
Shibata,
This is correct syntax from your last post; the m3 output is a "S" class Motorola format and the GANG should accept it.
Best,
Matthew
