DRV8312-C2-KIT: Giving motor more than 1 Amp on the BLDC-Sensor less Project on Control Suite

Part Number: DRV8312-C2-KIT

I have been using the BLDC-Sensorless project in Control Suite to experiment with an external BLDC Sensorless motor. The board only seems to be providing a max amperage of 1. Is there any way to up this to the 3.5 continuous amps that the DRV8312 is rated for?
