CCSTUDIO-C2000: Cannot find my F2837xD microcontroller or "Texas Instruments XDS100v2 USB Emulator” in CCS Target Configuration set-up

Hi,

I am working through the workshop for the above microprocessor and am on task 1 to flash the LEDS. It says to create target configuration file, select Texas Instruments XDS100v2 USB Emulator, and then the F2837xD MCU.

Unfortunately, neither the Texas Instruments XDS100v2 USB Emulator nor the option of the appropriate MCU are available in my version of CCS. 

I have tried to install the additional C2000 software, to no avail. 

Can you advise on why these may not be showing up in my CCS? I have the latest version of the CCS, I believe.

    Joel,

    Are you using Launchpad or controlCARD?

    What is the CCS version you are using?

    Are you able to download C2000ware and failed to install? What is the error in installation?
