We have a program that works well on TMS320F28335 control board KIT when writing into RAM or FLASH (doesn't matter).
But when we are trying to install it into FLASH memory of the controller (it writes well into RAM memory) from our device, the compiler gives us an error:
"Flash operation timed out waiting for algorithm to complete. Operation cancelled"
The password in CSM is not installed: the Memory Browser window gives us FFFF FFFF FFFF FFFF at 0X33FFF8-0X33FFFF address.
Power supply of 3.3 V and 1.8 V performed similarly to KIT: each power pin of the controller is connected to the bus 3.3 V
and 1.8 V through a 100uH inductor and decoupling capacitor 0.1 uF 22uF in parallel. Supply voltage 3.3 V is delayed relative to the voltage 1.8 V.
Please help us to solve this problem. Is there any suggestions?
Hello!
We are using MS320F28335 controlCARD on DOCKING-STN USB-EMU R3 board.
Unfortunately, we can't compile your project (CCS gives us about 15 errors like^
"gmake: *** No rule to make target `D:/DSP/DSP2833x_common/cmd/F28335.cmd', needed by `Example_28335_Flash.out'.Example_28335_Flash"
Looks like we are using the different versions of TI compiler (ours is 6.1.0):
!ERROR: The C2000v5.2.1 compiler, or any version compatible with it, is not currently installed!
Please migrate the project to one of the supported compilers first.
Hi,
Try with the project present here:
C:\ti\controlSUITE\device_support\f2833x\v133\DSP2833x_examples_ccsv4\flash_f28335
Also, here is some more detailed report about our problem (from the 1st post). I'm providing some screenshots:

Hi,
This happens during launching of debug session right? Check for the switches on the control card. See to it that they're in the ON position.

Gautam
One thing you can do is: download CCS Uniflash and try unlocking flash using the software. There is a possibility that flash might've got locked.

Gautam
Thanks, I'll try. But The the Memory Browser window gives FFFF FFFF FFFF FFFF at 0X33FFF8-0X33FFFF address. Does it means that flash memory are fine?
Hi Peter,
I can't comment on that but Uniflash would make everything crystal clear :)
