TMS320F28377S: CLA tasks nested

Hi,

Customer is working on F28377S, with 2 CLA tasks. 

If the two tasks are not nested. Everything works fine. 

If the are nested, that's, when one is executing, the other comes, what will happen?

Customer found that, after few seconds nested, the CLA tasks are not executed any more.

One task is triggered by ADC. The other is by software.

    Hi Jordan,

    First, CLA tasks on F2837x cannot be nested. They cannot be preempted or interrupted. Once a CLA task begins it runs to completion.

    This is likely a systematic software issue. Customer should begin debugging by identifying which CLA task is no longer being triggered and work backwards to identify why it has ceased from triggering.
