This design showcases the trend of the EV industry moving to a one-box based solution by integrating OBC, DC/DC conversion and a Traction inverter into one module. This integration achieves improved power efficiency, compact size and reduces overall cost. The design consists of many TI components including a single C2000™ real-time control MCU, SiC high voltage gate drivers, and isolated amplifiers.
