Dear C2K Champs,

We failed usb porting on USB library. The device is F28377D and USB library of C2000Ware_3_01_00_00.

The file directory is C:\ti\c2000\C2000Ware_3_01_00_00\driverlib\f2837xd\examples\cpu1\usb\usb_ex7_host_msc.c

The error refers to below the picture.

I think that is linker error. but I don't know how to solve to this error.

Please kindly help to comment and provide suggestions.

Hi Edward,

Looks like the error is caused due to mismatch in the output format for the USB Library and the USB example.

Also, set the output format for both to be the same (both should be either COFF or EABI). See attached snapshot.

I think it is not accepted path usblib.lib in ccs project.

because that fail issue occurred in c2000 usb_host_msc example the same. I set "exclude from build" tap to usblib.lib file, it occurred same issue.

Is there any possibility that usblib.lib is duplicated?

If duplicate, how can I check?

Hi Edward,

Can you try recompiling the USB Library in EABI format and add this to your CCS project.

USB Library is available in C:\ti\c2000\C2000Ware_3_01_00_00\libraries\communications\usb\f2837xd

I already tried recompiling the USB Library in EABI format and add the CCS project.

but it occurred the same issue.

Hi Edward ,

Is it possible for you to share your CCS projects?

Other thing that you can try is to delete the usblib.lib from the CCS project and check after adding the recompiled USB library to it.

Please refer to below my code.

The USB example file I used is a controlsuite.(C:\ti\c2000\C2000Ware_3_01_00_00\driverlib\f2837xd\examples\cpu1\usb\usb_host_msc)

Project_USB_EDWARD.zip

I already delete the usblib.lib from the CCS project and checked after adding the recompiled USB library.

Please confirm the project codes.

Hi Edward,

I am getting compilation errors with the code that you have shared. Looks like some header files are missing in the attachment.

I would suggest you to compile the USB library using the "Release" configuration. Refer the attached snapshot.

This will create a usb library "usblib_coff.lib" in the C:\ti\c2000\C2000Ware_3_01_00_00\libraries\communications\usb\f2837xd\ccs\Release folder.

Link this library to your CCS project and this should resolve your compilation issue.
