TMS320F28379S: Maximum supported PWM pairs

Part Number: TMS320F28379S

Hi,

My customer is looking for a device which is capable to generate more than 18 pairs(36 signals) PWM with dead-band.

As far as I understood from TMS320F2837xS datasheet, there are maximum 24 (12 pairs) ePWM and 16 (8 pairs) HRePWM channels.
But they are sharing the same pins, so the maximum supported pairs are total 12 pairs, correct?

Do we have any other devices which supports 18 pairs?

Thanks and regards,
Koichiro Tashiro

Yes, thats correct. F2837xx has 12 EPWM instances and hence supports maximum 24 PWM channels.

Currently, no device supports 36 channels. F2838x has 16 PWM instances and hence supports maximum 32 channels.
