Could you tell me about the effective number of bits in MSP430I2020.

A resolution that can divide 10000 of Min 1g and Max 10000g is required.

Hi,

I cannot understand the question. Do you mean the ADC ENOB? i2020 ENOB is arround 16-17bit depends on the different gain setting.

Yes, your perception is correct.
Does the datasheet contain information about ENOB?
I couldn't find it there.

No. The datasheed has the data of SNR. You can calculate the ENOB by

ENOB= ((SINAD -1.76))/(6.02 dB)

Hi,

The calculation was based on your feedback (ENOB = ((SINAD -1.76)) / (6.02 dB)).

Then, when 89db, ENOB is 14.5bit.

and when 77db, ENOB is 12.5bit.

You are correct for i2020. You need check if the resolution is enough or not.
