MSP430FR6047: No signal detected when MSP430FR6047 is connected with transducer SMFM21F1000SSSMFM21F1000SS.

Hi,

I am trying to build a clam on Water-Flow meter using MSP430FR6047  and transducer SMFM21F1000SS.  However in USS it is showing error no signal detected in up and downstream channel. 

In my setup the transducer is  mounted on a pipe facing each other but without using any gel or acrylic adhesive and I have the following configuration in USS. 

Could please help me find what I am doing wrong? Thanks in advance.

    Hi Antony,

    There are several important factors to consider for clamp-on water metering. There should be some type of couplant between the transducer face and tube, and the tube should be completely filled with water or else there is signal attenuation. Transducers with an angled 45-degree face are also typically used. You can refer to this thread [link] for more details.
