Hi Experts,

Good day.

Wireless MCU CC2650 and CC2640R2F, can they be regarded as communication peripherals controlled by FR5994?

Client want to customize a kind of communication hardware, including FR5994, a kind of TI BLE chip, a programmable port for the two chips, a kind of energy harvesting peripheral.

How can it be done? Any related document(s)?

You would have to program the ARM in the CC part to act like a peripheral. At that point you might as well ditch the FR5994.

Hi Archie,

To add to what Keith has already shared and avoid duplicate effort, I think this question has already been asked and addressed in the following thread. As Keith mentioned, there shouldn't be a need for the MSP430 due to the capabilities of the ARM wireless MCU. The purpose of the MSP430 is not clear.
